C and I arrived in Montestigliano a few hours ago. It’s hot. Man alive it’s hot. Kim & Hugh spent the best part of the last hour showing us around the Villa Pippistrelli. This is not just a Villa though – from what I can make out we have pretty much an entire village to play in.
The surrounding scene is breathtaking, am I actually here? We’re hanging in the square where tonight the guests will gather ahead of tomorrows wedding. Tonight is for relaxing, a hog roast spits and crackles on an open fire as nearby children are fooling around on haystacks that are dotted around the courtyard. A quirky looking cat drinks from a saucer of milk. I’m tired now after the long travel but I don’t want to sleep. I want to savour every moment. How many people can say they truly love their job? This is what I dreamed of doing for a long long time. This is most definitely going to be wedding photography with a unique twist. I’m here. There’s nowhere to go.

Gary, absolutely breath taking work – I enjoyed looking at these over and over again, the colours, the tone, the story, the composition – I have many favourites. I am reminded of so many films and photographers. You HAVE to do more of this – by far, imo, your best work to date

These are the most beautiful moments and captures of wedding photography shots I’ve seen. The couple portraits are breathtakingly stunning. You have to do more destination stuff because the mixture of portraits and documentary style you have is for me photojournalism at it’s best. Very inspirational stuff, you and the couple must be thrilled
